A Vision of HillaryCare

// September 27th, 2007 // Politics

The Telegraph (a British news publication) offers a wonderful example of what we have to look forward to in the US if Hillary Clinton gets her way:

“I want to warn other smokers. We have paid our National Insurance stamps all our lives and now we are being shut out of the NHS.”

See the full story, Smoker refused operation on broken ankle, for full details. I’m not a fan of smoking, but what happens when the government decides that web developers are less likely to heal following surgery? With all of the bad habits out there, a national health plan could cost the taxpayers billions of dollars without ever paying a cent.
